Weather

Unlike most places, summers in San Francisco are unpredictable and often cool and foggy. The best weather months are April, May, and September through November. The rainy season is December through March. The best clothes to pack are things that can be layered. One part of the city can be basking in the sun while another part is covered in fog. For up-to-date weather information, please visit the National Weather Service's Bay Area Forecast.
